In the Fall of 2019, a group of eight students at Life Chiropractic College West came together with a shared vision: to create something that did not yet exist within the chiropractic profession. They envisioned a sisterhood where future chiropractors could find encouragement, leadership, lifelong friendships, and a shared commitment to principled chiropractic. Rather than reshaping that vision to fit an existing organization, they chose to build one of their own. Through countless conversations, planning sessions, and unwavering determination, they established Alpha Chi Rho, laying the foundation for what would become a lasting legacy within the profession.

As the organization grew, so did its vision. In August 2023, Alpha Chi Rho officially became Chi Rho Lambda, marking the beginning of a new chapter while honoring the values and purpose that inspired its founding. While our name evolved, the mission remained the same: to unite and empower women in chiropractic through sisterhood, scholarship, leadership, and service. Alpha Chapter welcomed its first new member class in the Summer of 2020, beginning a legacy that continues to grow today. Every chapter, every sister, and every tradition traces back to the vision of those eight founding members, whose commitment continues to shape Chi Rho Lambda and the future of the chiropractic profession.
